Baptiste Rossi
August 8, 2025
Congratulations to my 105th PhD student, Baptiste Rossi, on the successful defense of his doctoral thesis, “Learning Nonlinear Dynamics: Methods and Applications.” I am also deeply grateful to my friend of 40 years, Yannis Kallinderis, for generously sharing his expertise on Navier–Stokes equations and turbulence, which greatly enriched the research.
Pericles Petrides
August 8, 2025
Congratulations to my 106th PhD student, Pericles Petrides, on the successful defense of his doctoral thesis, “Bridging the Gap: From Artificial Intelligence and Optimization to Action.” His research addressed decarbonization through the use of solar and wind energy for OCP, one of the largest fertilizer companies in the world, and introduced an exciting, explainable approach for holistic AI in medicine.
Thodoris Koukouvinos
